Tipwin awarded online horserace betting license by state of Hessen

Online horserace betting operator TipWin Ltd. has reportedly been granted a remote license by the State of Hesse, valid until 2021, German media reports.

Ivica Batinic, managing partner of TipWin Ltd. said: “A formal license is further proof that Tipwin is on the right course in economic and regulatory terms.  It was fundamentally important for the company to comply with and gain certification according to ISO 27001 standards.

“The stipulations in the secondary provisions are primarily of a qualitative nature and could theoretically also serve for a new regulation in the field of sports betting.”
