Will Hill to operate race and sportsbook at new Las Vegas casino

William Hill U.S. has struck a long-term agreement with Fifth Street Gaming, the developer and operator of the soon to open Downtown Grand Casino in Las Vegas.
Under the terms of the deal, William Hill will operate a branded race and sportsbook with its own dedicated entrance at the new casino which is scheduled to open its doors in September.
“We are pleased to partner with Fifth Street Gaming and be a part of the Downtown 3rd Project,” said Joe Asher, chief executive officer of Las Vegas-based William Hill U.S. “Downtown Las Vegas is undergoing an exciting transformation and Downtown Grand and other new businesses nearby will bring many new customers to the area.”
The deal is subject to approval by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
