William Hill to advertise at US racetrack

The US subsidiary of British online and land gambling giant William Hill plc has inked a deal with the Monmouth Park racetrack in New Jersey that expands its brand exposure in the United States.

Under the agreement, Will Hill acquires naming rights as the title sponsor for the major $1 million Haskell Invitation race, along with racetrack publicity and the advantage of being the track’s exclusive sports betting provider, subject to legal constraints.

The agreement expands the British company’s presence in the States; it is already prominent in Nevada through the acquisition in 2011 of  the bookie group Brandywine, the Club Cal Neva Sportsbook and American Wagering .
