The Calvin Ayre Foundation (CAF) is appealing to the iGaming industry to make a donation towards the Haiyan relief efforts following the devastating typhoon that hit the Philippine Central Islands earlier this month.

CAF has committed to matching all donations made by the online gambling industry “pesos for peso, up to $1 000 000,00”.

Foundation founder, Calvin Ayre has additionally personally pledged $200 000 towards the relief efforts and the CAF is in the process of adopting a village in the damaged area where the group said it will directly self-administer assistance to the people in need.

“The Philippines has become home to so many online gambling companies who are capitalizing on the booming Asian gambling market. It’s time to repay the generosity of the Filipino people by giving as much back to the country that has given us so much,” said a company statement.

CAF has requested donors email a copy of their donation receipt to haiyan@calvinayre.com to facilitate the company matching the amount.
