Darren Wright, the second of two Canadians accused by US federal investigators of being the men behind alleged illegal online gambling activities at ThrillX-BetEd has denied any ownership, implying that the feds are mistaken.
Wright has engaged the legal services of Californian law firm Ledger & Associates to assist in his defence.
Earlier this week his co-accused, Canadian David Parchomchuk, engaged prominent US lawyer Jeff Ifrah to present his defence that he was merely a supplier of software, and not the owner of the gambling companies targeted in the federal investigation.
