IWG converts digital title to retail form for first time

Online instant win game developer, IWG, has developed its first retail, physical instant win ticket based on its popular digital title, Cash Buster.

The game was developed in partnership with Canadian Lottery Loto-Québec and will be the first of many conversions to come, the company said.

Rhydian Fisher, CEO at IWG, said: “This is a truly ground-breaking moment for the instant win sector. Loto –Quebec have used dual launches online and in retail very effectively with us before but never before has a digital game been turned into a physical ticket – it has always been the other way around in the past.

Clément Aubin, Online Product Team Manager at Loto-Québec, added: “Cash Buster has proven to be hugely popular with our online customers, and it made perfect sense for us to offer the same game to our retail players.

“We have a great working relationship with IWG and they have been extremely helpful in delivering this unique product for our customers. I’m sure it will be as big a hit for the retail sector as it has been online.”
