Pacific Sea Invests SA, which owns the First Cagayan licensed online sportsbetting site 12Bet.com, has announced a 2 year shirt sponsorship deal with the Spanish football club Sevilla.
The Asia and Europe-facing sportsbetting site’s logo will appear on the top team’s jerseys during all La Liga, Copa Del Rey and friendly matches.
12Bet’s involvement comes at the close of a similar deal with 888.com, which has served as Sevilla’s main sponsor since 2006.  The new deal with 12Bet is reportedly worth twice as much as the previous arrangement.
“We are delighted to have 12Bet.com as our new partner,” said Jose Maria Del Nido, President for the La Liga team. “We share similar ambitions for growth and extension of our respective brands in many of the key and emerging economies and we have already discussed some ideas on how best to achieve it together. We are enthusiastic about working with 12Bet.com to accelerate the international development of our club.”
Sevilla, who won back-to-back UEFA Cups in 2006 and 2007 and revealed that its new sponsor would also be working on a number of other commercial projects with the club.
“We are investing a lot into the development of the 12Bet.com brand and had been looking for a partner in the world of football for a long time,” said Andrea Hector, Director General for 12Bet.com.
“Sevilla had an excellent season last year, qualifying directly for the Champions League group stages. We see this as an excellent opportunity to boost the international development of both brands.”
