Sports betting site to support cancer charity

Bet4Balls.com, a new social enterprise designed to raise money for prostate cancer charities, has launched in collaboration with seven top UK online bookmakers including Betfred, William Hill and Betfair.
The owners claim that Bet4Balls.com is the UK’s first online betting website offering punters the opportunity to combine betting on sports with donating to charity.
The first GBP 5 or more bet a player places with a partner bookmaker, having signed up via Bet4Balls, will release a free donation of at least GBP 5 to Prostate Cancer UK.
Bet4Balls.com founder Daniel Sanderson said Friday that the site wanted to raise awareness of prostate cancer as well as funds for the charity, and that the new site combines entrepreneurship and philanthropy in an innovative social enterprise.
